The “Space Base” Project was my senior thesis while at RMCAD, the semester prior we had been working exclusively in the Unity Game Engine and at the time I felt like it just wasn’t enough to handle the “hefty” level of detail and scale that I was envisioning for my level. I decided to make the jump from Unity into UDK (Unreal Development Kit) in the hopes that it would help push literally every facet of my level design. While unfinished due to the time constraints of the semester, I found product that I was much more happy with and in turn began a foray into the world of Unreal. It’s my hope to come back to this scene and take it to the next level inside of the latest Unreal Engine.
